I believe Tim Talleur (tst) makes those trunnion bushings. He's at Red Power this week, but you could probably PM him.

Re: FAST HITCH LIFT ROD BUSHING
Hi,
I measured the part on my Cub Fast Hitch, it is 1 1/2" long.
The OD is 1.360". Not a common size, I think.
1 5/16" is 1.312",
1 3/8" is 1.375"
1 3/8" is close enough I would think, if you are buying material to make one.
The OD of mine matches the size of the trunnion ahead of the spacer.
My spacer has some original IH paint on it, as far as I know.
I can't measure the ID with it assembled, but it just fits slightly loosely on the 3/4" rod.

Re: FAST HITCH LIFT ROD BUSHING
THANK YOU ALL! Tim's lift link rod is a great fit, too. there were several "bushings" on mine just was sure which one was the "right" length.

Re: FAST HITCH LIFT ROD BUSHING
Hi,
Remember to not set the stop collar on the lift rod so the rod pushes down on implements, it can bend the rod.
The rod is made for lifting the hitch and implements.
Adjust the depth lever, or crank, to the right of the seat, whichever your hitch has, so a plow will go in the ground to the depth you want.
Below are pages from the 1955 Cub operator's manual, with Fast Hitch info. The info is for the 1st Fast Hitches, with the depth adjusting lever to the right of the seat.
Pages 1 and 2 show how the hitch looks.
You can see the shape of the lift rod in the 1st pic.

The page below tells about using the hitch, and the info about the collar on the lift rod is at the end of the long paragraph on the left side of the page.

I've found that when backing up with some trailers, using a ball, or pin hitch, the Fast Hitch can raise up. Then you need to move the stop collar on the lift rod to the rear, against the trunnion.
Below is a pic of the lift rod, and collar set about 6" ahead from the rear.
The pic is from a How To by Bill Hudson about plowing.
Maybe you knew this info already.

Thanks Glenn for the reminder. I had read the manual but the visual from Bill is a plus.
