Bent radiator

Postby Clubless » Tue Jul 12, 2022 10:14 am

What would be best way to straighten this radiator? I got this in trade some time ago, condition unknown. Is there a DIY way to test it?
Thanks,
Gary

I’d use an adjustable wrench and just bend it back as best as I could. I took a 2x6 and a router and made a “test board”. I routed a an area big enough for the tubes to sit in and allow the flange to sit flat on the board. I then put a gasket between the board and radiator and screwed the radiator down to the board. It worked fine for leak testing with no pressure. I don’t know how well it would have worked if I tried to put any pressure on it.

There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.
