Postby Ohiowoodchuck » Mon Jul 18, 2022 7:34 pm

Looking for a picture on how the drive chain is ran on a cole fertilizer drive. Also looking for a picture of the drive engage and disengage mechanism.

Brad has pictures. I’ll reach out to him.

The manual in the manual section is probably the one I sent you.

I checked the pdf section and the only one I found was for a planter.

It takes the same 10 tooth sprocket as a Cub planter/side dresser.

Hi,
There is Cub 101A fertilizer attachment info in the Cub 144 Cultivator operator's manual.
Below is the manual, info begins on page 8, and then more begins on page 24.
I guess it is different, but maybe it will help you, I don't have them, so I don't know.

Below is a pic of a Cole fertilizer unit that was on here in the past. :)

It engages off the cultivator arm.

This circled in yellow is tapered on one side and slides the shaft in or out to engage and disengage when the cultivators are raised or lowered.

Mine has a belt on it driven on the inside next to the tractor. I thought someone could of added but according to the parts book I saw this evening it was a factory item.
