Brake band pins

Remove one brake pin that connects the brake band. But the other is giving me problems any tricks or hacks thanks in advance

Are you trying to remove the pin from the band or from the final casting?

Not the rivets that attach pad to the band. But the 2 pins in the bands that attach to pivot point that you can adjust the brakes with

If the band is out of the final, you should be able to position it on a vise and drive the pins out. Spray with a good penetrating oil and/or heat if they are rusty and stubborn.

If you haven’t bought the yellow propane bottle (mapp gas), treat yourself to some good heat. It’s the best $10 you’ll spend for a long time. Its not the power of a real acetylene outfit, but it’s one of those ‘Where have you been all my life’ things
