Welcome to the Forum. The transmission case rear cover without PTO or belt pulley has seven hex head cap screws 3/8-16NC x 5/8” long. Tractors with the PTO or belt pulley use different size bolts. With one more post to the forum you will have access to manuals which include parts listS that provides this information.

I'm not sure he is looking for that bolt size? Maybe he is looking for that little crescent shaped bell housing cover that blocks the back oil pan bolts? I'm not sure which one he is looking for? Or is it the valve cover side plate?

Please clarify what you are referring to as “crankcase cover plate”. And welcome to the forum.

If you misplaced 2, where are the others?

I am assuming there are more than 2, just measure one of the other ones if they are like.

My thought also. Remove one bolt. If you don't have an on hand selection of nuts, bolts, washers; then a trip to local hardware store.
I have an excuse. CRS.

The parts lookup shows two different sizes. 5/16-18 X 1 and 5/16-18 X 1-3/4.

I thought he was asking about the tappet cover, where there are only 2 bolts (5/16 x 3). His original wording suggests there are more than two in the part in question.

Funny thing that I read crankcase cover, but immediately thought transmission case cover.

I agree with "Clemsonfor" -- "little crescent shaped bell housing cover". If I remember, they are just short Hex Head bolts and nuts with lock washers. Maybe ¼-20. I'm not sure.
