If you have been to the CubTug the last four years you may have noticed part of a Cub sitting back in the corner. I purchased this Cub from Chris Todd. Chris had sent the motor to a machine shop where it was bored and new pistons installed. After that life got in his way and it sat in his barn and house for a few years.
While we had everything out of the barn for CubTug I thought this would be a good time to tackle that project. John Martin and Bigdog said that they would assemble the motor. I spent a rainy afternoon going through boxes and baskets looking for all the parts for the tractor and then we hauled it over to John‘s. They had it together in no time. I am proud to say with all the moving from Chris’s house to my barn and scattered throughout my barn and in the loft and around that only two pieces were missing. They were the gasket for the oil pump and the spring for the governor. A while back I had sent a magneto to Rick Spivey to be gone through. I thought it was too pretty to put on anything and wanted to save it for a good project and decided that this would be the one.

So why did you start two threads and not reply to your first one? This is the same tractor right?

Glad you finall got it out of that corner. Now you can put in some shelves back there.
There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.
