Torque tube implement bolt holes

Mine are stripped out. What size are they? Or what size should I try to top them out too? Got some hay to sickle

And can anyone recommend a good tap and die set that won’t break the bank?

Those holes go all the way through. You can use all thread
There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.

If you haven't helicoiled before, they require a specific STI tap and odd sized drill. You can also use an EZ-Lok which is a solid insert and uses a standard size tap and drill. They also come in several wall thicknesses depending on how enlarged the hole is.

You can buy knock of Helicoil type kits that come with the tap and drill needed off like Amazon for usually cheaper than just the Helicoil inserts would cost. I bought one to do one of my finals of the cub. Worked fine. Project Farm on YouTube did a video a few months ago on Helicoil and similar inserts. He has like 4-5 things from real Helicoil to the knockoff to other inserts. He put them in aluminum. The knock off Helicoil was just as good as the name brand..might of held a little stronger? If I remember right every type of insert held in the aluminum that he put it in better than the threads in the virgin aluminum holes themselves.
