Woods Mower Question
Hi all, I have a question about a mower for my cub. I found a rm42 3 pt mower. I also found a 3pt kit for a cub. Would I be able to use a rm42 3pt on my cub with the 3pt kit without pto changes? Or would I have to buy an adapter? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Woods Mower Question
If the pto shaft has 6 point spline on the tractor side, then it is 540 pto rpm.
Since Woods made a Fast-Hitch version of the 42, they possibly made a 3 point version for the 154, 185, 184 number series Cub Lo-Boys too.
That being said, the possibility probably exists to hunt down (all) the parts to convert a 540rpm model to run at 1800 rpm.
The question is, do you want to spend the bucks and take the time to do so.
Or you need to hunt down one of those pto reverser / reducer that Hub City used to make to attach to your Cub
