Why do people do this?

I wonder what possessed somebody to put Cub Cadet decals on this 1974 Cub. I'm a big proponent of, "it's your tractor, do what you want with it!", but this really challenges that notion for me for some reason. Maybe it's because it promotes the confusion for the non-Cub expert that all Cubs (and frankly A's, B's, and any other small tractor) are a 'Cub Cadet'. The (wise?) folks at Aumann Auctions even listed it as a Cub Cadet. Grrr...

Some folks are just set in their ways, and it's just easier to politely nod your head and do as they ask/tell, rather than argue with them in a futile attempt to change their mind.

The seller of this tractor is SURE that it is a "Cub Cadet," put it in the auction as a "Cub Cadet" and expects the auction listing to describe it as a "Cub Cadet."

Kinda looks to me that the rear portion of the stripe decal says Hydrostatic.
