And since that is a set of double plows for a 189, you’ll be looking for more than just the depth lever. Print off a copy of the parts manual for it and take it with you so you’ll know what to look for when you pick it up. That’s also a good find if it is complete

How much would you say the disc harrows worth?

I have seen some go for $200 to $300.00. Really good ones could fetch $300.00 to $450.00.

Thanks.

Good idea, I will do that. I’m only picking up the tractor for now, I’ll make another trip for the attachments, probably closer to spring. He said no rush on getting them out.

Do NOT delay that any longer than absolutely necessary. From his perspective, once the tractor is out of the way the rest is just junk and will start going away. The value of a two-way plow goes down fast even if only a few critical pieces are missing.

I agree with Jim. Load your trailer with everything you can on the first trip and go back immediately. He may sound like a nice guy, but once he has your money and the tractor is gone, there is no incentive for him to look for any missing parts. He can simply say he can't find them. Something similar happened to me when I bought a Cub from out of state and the seller convinced me he would send the missing parts. Several phone calls later and still no parts. I gave up after 4 or 5 months of hounding him
There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.

The tractors home, I’ll start another thread about it. I found the parts for the plows, I think everything is there now. I just took the small stuff I could carry for now. I have to wait for the ground to dry up some so I could get the trailer down to the barn where the attachments are to load up the bigger stuff.

117031 is 1950, yes there is a 1 on the end of the serial number. Easy to miss.

Tires look to be from a manuer spreader.

That makes sense, they say “U.S. Royal Ground-Drive” on the side.
