Cultivator question

Postby Electronrider » Wed Mar 22, 2023 4:02 pm

Is there a model of cultivators that utilize the fast hitch for the rear?

You can use the nonfasthitch cultivators. Take the bearings off that attach to finals and you can put bushings on the rock shaft where spring rods attach to make a better fit. That’s the only difference on the rear. You didn’t mention front, but they require different pressure rods that hook to fast hitch hydraulics

Edit: you won’t need the bar that attaches to a nonfasthitch rock shaft since the rear lift rods would attach to the fast hitch but you need the necessary pins for the fast hitch for the lift rods on rear

There is / was a fast hitch tool bar that could be configured to cultivate with, but crop clearance would not be as good as a set of 144 cultivators.

And the tool bar is super tough to find / not as common!
