Henderson Loader on Cub

Postby comdiver » Thu Jun 15, 2023 11:08 am

I just purchased a older Henderson Loader for my Cub. I put the left side plate on and it looks like it is going to be hard to get boom pivot X tube in place and I don't think you will still be able the tractor hydraulics to lift any more. Please tell me I'm wrong, or that you have a way to make it work.

That part deliberately blocks motion of the Touch-Control rockshaft so the Touch-Control can be used to power the loader without adding a bypass block. I'm not sure if that bar can be simply left out and a bypass block added to use the system both ways at the same time.

The guy in Zoar Valley that you are asking about is probably North Otto Tractor Parts. I don't know if he makes bypass blocks.

That bar holds the two pivot pins for the frame so it's required. Apparently that became an issue and the loader was redesigned for that cross support to go above the gas tank. If you go to my Henderson thread you can see the later design in photos that Barnyard posted.

So when you have the loader on you only can use the loader?

I talked with North Otto Tractor Parts this morning and he isn't the guy. He heard the same thing Zoar Valley Tractor Parts. We couldn't find anything as far as a name or number. So I'm still looking.

As I mentioned, TM Tractor (see lower right adv) has the bypass block.

How many people in Zoar Valley can be selling tractor parts? Hard to believe somebody is with anyone else doing the same not knowing about it.
