Woods 42C drive hex

Postby 1953vacub » Mon Jun 19, 2023 9:45 am

Hello. i have a question about a woods 42c belly mower. i am trying to remove the pulley and i have made it to the drive hex. both of the keys pulled out and the drive still wont budge. my question is is there anything else holding it?does it thread off? or just slide off and is just stuck on the shaft? thanks for all the help to everyone on this site

here is the parts manual for this clutch. https://www.messicks.com/wo/95176 If you are at the hex the fits can be tight and you may want to use a puller to pull the pulley up evenly to get it out.

Tim I think he means the hex-shaped "Drive hex" https://www.messicks.com/part/3177
