I'm hoping some of the belt pulleys will be usable if I find a side sickle.

Hi,
I'm not sure what you mean, as far as I know, the pulleys for the rotary mower don't work with the Cub 22 mower.

What I was referring to was the lower rear transfer pulley that allows the PTO drive belt to change direction in order to facilitate the horizontal pulley on the mower deck. Since I don't have a sickle bar yet, I am not familiar with exactly how it is driven from the PTO. I imagine a belt has to be sourced from the rear PTO and travel underneath the tractor.

Hi,
Yes, the Woods mowers use a long belt that runs from the PTO pulley, down under the Cub, and forward to the mower.
Below are Woods owner's manuals, they have lots of info, and pictures.
Some of the manuals down the page don't work.

The pics I posted at TM Tractor Parts on page 1 of this post show the Cub 22 Mower uses a long shaft, encased in a tube, running from the lower rear pulley, forward under the Cub, to about under the engine clutch. The pitman and knife bar are run by the shaft.
