Postby Invcbl » Tue Sep 19, 2023 5:01 pm

Hello, I have a Farmall A and am able to buy a woods L59 mower off a cub lowboy. What needs to be changed on the woods mower to make it fit on the Farmall A? Thanks for any info

I did the opposite 2 years ago - a friend had a Woods L59 with a rusted out deck and found one on an A. We had all the mounting brackets for the Cub but the A turns the blades in the opposite direction (throws grass out the left side) so I had to swap all of the spindles and blades from the rusted Cub deck to the one from the A.

In addition to what Dave described, all the mounting and mule drive hardware is different.
