As far as I know, there is no”factory attachment” the pins are on the emblem when it comes out of the mold. Once they are broken off, the best solution is the double side emblem tape, mentioned earlier.

The pins are not part of the mold/badge. The badges are stainless and the pins are not! There is a clean smooth circle on the back side of the badge where the head of the pins were attached to the badge and the head of the pin is slightly larger than the diameter of the pin, kind of like a nail head.

I will try JB weld or another epoxy and after it cures I will check to see if I think it has a solid attachment. If not I will use emblem tape.
