KubKraft hardware-looks too good for this tractor!

Postby Trent M » Fri May 02, 2008 5:48 pm

I got around to installing the engine ear supports and front hitch today on a '49. This is a working tractor with a solid block and I hope to keep it that way!! I really like the blue rods, would look alot better if the tractor was a pretty red, though. A while back, I put a set of the early version rods on another '49 and I have to say they are easier to install. I should never have to remove these, so its a one-time deal. I cultivate with this one, so the newer style was a must. I put on the left side of the universal mounting frame to show the clearance. I have to say that these are a solid, high quality item and any working tractor should have them. If you break the ear on a working tractor without the rods, I'll say "I told you so!" :D The pics are here:

Thanks Rick for providing us with such a nice improvement for our Cubs!!

Good pix! Looks like you got it well protected. Quality work is the key.

Trent,

You're making me think that I need a set of those. Looks real good.

Thanks Trent for the great pictures. They definetely take more time to install than the first style rods. These new rods are more critical to make, being they have to screw into the front and the bolt has to screw into the back hole. I can't just bend up a batch and ship them out. Each one has to be fitted and tweaked to line up. I though maybe they would be easier to make than the first ones, but they actually take alittle longer because of the close tolerance.
I think I'll be caught up by Monday or Tuesday with all the orders. I shipped out 4 more packages today. I feel a vacation coming on :D
I need to get busy on those fast/3 point conversions next week so I can deliver the cubs to Bigdog and Evilbow at Barnyard Bills in a couple weeks.

Thanks again,
Rick

I guess it's pretty much a necessary item for the loader Lo Boy.... I have a few items I would like to get, but I guess it would be too much trouble to fetch (and have Rick make em) when I pass that way next week....

Probably easier to ship anyway.

Nice work Rick.

Thanks for the photos!

Larry my boss called last thursday and said it will be 2-3 weeks before we go back to work so I will be home when you get out here. We could just jump in the little car go down and see Rick I know the way :D Maybe even jump in the big F250 diesel and test out the new fuel injectors and chip!!!! Man that truck rocks now :!: :!: :!:

Hey Billy, just jump on I-75 and go four hours and you'll end up at the Barnyard Bash CubFest in two weeks. Like Rick said, he will be here to dop off Bigdog's and Ron's Cubs. We have six or seven members plus some wives who already said they would be here. Others are working on their schedules. Come on down, the more the merrier.
