A CUB Motorcycle

OK, How many of you have seen a Cub Motorcycle :D :D A fella by the name of Larry Medwig put this clever cycle together and was riding it around the grounds at the "Hit and Miss" show in Orwell this weekend. Our very own George Hibbs(IH48) even jumped on it for some pictures :D Thanks Larry for the interesting piece. Can you guys and gals identify any of the parts used to put this cycle together??

Hmmm...I wonder how far it can pull the sled at the Tug!
There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.

Ok.. Cub parts

- Hood/Tank/Grill/Headlights
- Tachometer

probably others but can't see em right off. Looks like an implement lift/depth lever .. modified.

I think the whole deal would be more realistic if George had been wearing leather and a helmet that had steer horns on it. :lol:

I also am in the Antique Motorcycle Club of America, Larry Medwig is well known as the man to go to with bent metal and for paint, he is a magician with sheet metal and any old iron for that matter with a nice shop in Ohio and he is a great guy, he has so much work it takes about a year to get to a new job

Thanks for the pics, George likes real good as the uneasy rider :D

Looks like he is hiding an IH LA or LB engine under the hood. Does the the fuel tank cap line up with the water hopper?

Also looks like David Bradley tires, rims and hubs.

Does that qualify as being a tube frame :wink:

The right foot rest looks like an old 460 Tow Motor brake/clutch pedal..
