Gentleman,
Have not been on in a while, hope everyone is doing ok. After skipping the garden last year because of a new born and a 2 year old I am back in the game this year. I set up the middle toolbar with a shovel dead center to run my rows. It was running well and about halfway through the first pass I dropped a cylinder. I checked spark and it was good, with no change on number 2 when wire removed. I popped the cover and had a stuck valve again. I freed it up and ran it around a little more and it did it again but periodically. I just changed the oil. My question is this, should I be running a Zinc additive or any other you guys can recommend? Planting time is here and I do not want to be down for a rebuild. Winter project. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks
I will take pics when I am back in the garden

With the cover off I'd spray some Deep Creep (aerosol Seafoam) all over it and let it sit overnight. I'd do it in conjunction with the above suggestions.

Re: Sticking Valves Again
Without taking the cover off, I've also sprayed Deep Creep into the air intake side of the carb until it kills the engine (you might need to throttle down to get it to die). That should get stuff good and coated also.

Re: Sticking Valves Again
Fill it up with a tank of power saw gas , after you run that out put one gal of mixed gas to 5 gal of straight gas. that will solve your sticking valves.
