My 48 Cub is serial #14273
my 65 Cub is serial #226678
I'll try to research where to find all the other numbers you have listed on your database, and update you with that info when I get the chance.

Re: Database Update 19 Jan 2015
Hi,
The Cubs usually have date codes on the larger castings.
Below is info from TM Tractor, showing what the date codes are on Cubs.
http://www.tmtractor.com/id/id_004.htm
The info below shows where the date codes are.
The date code on the clutch housing, in the 1st pic, is usually partly behind the clutch pedal.
The date code on the steering gear housing, the last pic, is usually mostly hidden when the tractor is assembled.

Thanks for sharing the info. I suspected my cub came from Canada originally by what I could read of the dealer decal.
The database confirmed it. SN 35862

It isn't clear to me how you got that conclusion. I must be missing something.

Re: Database Update 19 Jan 2015
I did not word that very clearly, It was not have been an export tractor because the s/n is NOT listed as such. It has dealer decal on the hood that says Nicolet, P.Q.

Re: Database Update 19 Jan 2015
Oh, OK. I was misinterpreting what you said. The "exported to Canada" in the serial number list is nowhere near complete. I'm sure many more were sent there than the few listed.

Just add your info here. I have been updating the list in the absence of Raymond.
There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.

Re: Database Update 19 Jan 2015
Hi,
I thought I has offered some numbers to you and I see my International Cub Lo-Boy tractor is not in your list. The serial tag is marked as an:
-The tractor is yellow and white.
-International Harvester International Cub Lo-Boy
SS#: 25003J
-International Harvester
C-3 Rotary Mower
-Touch control unit serial is on the left below the plug nut
8 7 N
368719-R1
-Where the touch control unit mounted to a tube that I think is the torque tube casting which the serial is on the right
351686 R3
L3
I know there are other numbers I have seen but I just have these now. With out taking off the manifold I can't get the numbers off the engine block.
This is a 12 volt system and has an alternator. The distributor has an electric unit in it and not points. The fan unit is sealed and not able to be greased. It has the press starter on the dash. It has an IH carb. The radiator had been replaced when I got it because there is a bar code on it?

Re: Database Update 19 Jan 2015
Hi Barnyard,
I have the information I can find on my 1947 Cub #4028.
torque tube casting # 8-14-Q
trans casting # 8-2-Q
axle ext casting # 8-7-Q
right final casting # 7-9-Q
engine serial # 35037
engine casting # 5-5-R
cyl head casting # 5-20-R
touch control res casting # 10-19-S
So I have an engine from 1948 and a TC from 1949.
It did have Circle Cub decals on it; here are some pics showing what I found after scraping off the old paint and decals. It would be the highest number Circle Cub in the registry.

The latest addition to the Finch Fleet, BETTY. She could be my twin, since most of her casting dates are within a couple months of my birthday, she MIGHT have been "born" (assembled) ON the same day! I'll get the other numbers as I get deeper into her.

Re: Database Update 19 Jan 2015
I have a 1950 serial number 100860. Fairly certain it is a demonstrator since I found a LOT of white under the red when I had the finals off to re-seal and put brakes on it this weekend.
