Thank you Mr Don. This is not a museum piece , its my working Cub. Try to put her away after the work by improving or fixing something, anything big or small. Its a good habit, if you have the time. After a few years she's like new again. A little red paint goes a long ways.

Hey Bud, How are you anyway. Hope all in well in Pope :)

I put another picture in the above file that shows old 563 in the back row. I will have to get her going again soon. Sorry to say i haven't started her in over a year. She will get a Pertronix Ignitor and plugs. She will pull fertilizing duty in a few weeks, pulling this one http://www.agri-fab.com/Products/Spread ... ader.aspx#

Awesome Mike! That vintage Cub is my favorite and I am a huge fan of FH flail mowers too!

I echo what the others have said: good to see you posting again and the subject matter. I almost enjoy looking at your stone and post building as much as I do your Cubs (almost,). You have a beautiful place there.

Thank you Stanton. This place was a rock pile with a 120 yr. old house when I got it 20 yr ago. Its getting there. :) Years of mechanical improvements before i could begin the Bermuda farming.

Have removed all the rocks and used them to build my shop with the Cub storage shed on the north end. My Cubs have enabled me to do all the raking and dragging. (photos posted to above link) I am close to getting a thick bermuda turf lawn. The flail mower is set down to a one inch cut which the bermuda likes; and with 400lb down pressure on the mower roller, it is the perfect mower for smoothing everything.
