New to us '64 Farmall Cub; looks to be converted to 12v electrical and going to be one heck of a project.

The change to 12 volts was mid-year '64 (serial 224401). This one is from before the change.

Based on the tags on both the generator and starter, it looks like it's got a 12v generator with a 6v starter. Based on the modification to the hood to cover the generator, I assume that it was either converted or was in the process of being converted. Regardless, this looks like it will be a fun family project as my son and father both want to work on it; these multi-generation projects are always fun.

Looks pretty decent I like the fact it has a factory hole punched for a vertical muffler. Depending on the serial number it should be all red with a white grill screen and 6V electrical.
Tractors are like watermelons..Eat the red and throw away the green!!

Could be an Industrial version. No signs of Red anywhere in his pictures. Vertical Exhaust was an option.
In a separate post he gave the S/N 223570. Yours is S/N 223883. About as close together as you can get.

Well it was possibly ordered by the state or county as a mowing tractor, my 64 actually belong to a local school in Edenton NC had a fail mower on it it's whole life the fellow my dad and me got it off of bought it at a county auction before we bought it even has a service tag on the tank. This 64 must of been ordered back then for the same purpose.
