IH built 982 with dual hydraulics, rear PTO, factory 3 point hitch, 50" deck, 48" tiller. Replacement P220 Onan in '95. Custom 4" X 12" narrowed rims and 400-12 tri-ribs up front on 5 lug trailer hubs, and easy steer modified box. Planted 2 acres of sweetcorn pulling a JD 494A four row planter........
Hardrock your 982 is a nice machine. I have one and are thinking about modifications like yours. Did you use farmall cub front rims? how about the front spindles are they custom made.
