The Cub world will definitely not be the same - from the old ATIS Cub days till now George has made quite the impact.
Marilyn and the family will be in our prayers here in NC.

Re: Rest in Peace, George Willer
Such sad news to hear, my thoughts and prayers to Marilyn and the rest of their family. I feel so lucky to have gotten to know George, visit his shop, and visit with him at several tractors shows in the past years.
He had such talent and wisdom, and was always willing to share it with you. He would listen to some crazy idea or thought you had about doing/changing/modifying something on a tractor and such, that instead of saying it can't be done or was a stupid or useless idea, he'd offer his thoughts and insight on how to accomplish it.
I feel lucky to have known him and call him a friend, RIP my friend, you've been thru a lot and fought those setbacks and health issues when most would have given up.

Re: Rest in Peace, George Willer
I forgot to mention that George cherished his friends and kept in contact with them, even if it was just to share something he though funny or really interesting. I was privileged to be on his email list for the last decade or so and there have been some real funnies over the years. The last email I got from George, and I assume a few of us got that was this one that I decided I would share with his FarmallCub.com friends....he had a very wry sense of humour
So long my friend, you will always be in my memories and whenever we have a fest here in NB I will always remember your words to me : Quit complainin and host your own!

Just wait for the cartoon intro to finish, then hold on to your seat.

Re: Rest in Peace, George Willer
Hmmmmm........so sad, this news.
I know that GW has been ill for some time.
I had the pleasure of talking on the phone with him a couple times.
He had a Super A snow blade on a regular Cub, which he let me have for a good price.
Cowboy actually picked it up for me during a Cubfest way back in '08.
I am almost certain that George Willer was one of the first to answer my very first posts on the YT board way back in 2000.
He was helpful, 'shot from the hip' , and very knowledgeable.
Sure wish I had went to one of those early 'fests and met him in person.
Perhaps we shall meet some day on the nether shore.
Rest Peacefully dear friend.

Re: Rest in Peace, George Willer
Ladies and Gentlemen, we've all benefitted from one form of wisdom or another from Mr. George Willer, and he will be missed in this world by all who came into contact with him.
The good news? The good Lord above will now have the pleasure of a great "cub-bud", and Mr. George will have all the time, energy and strength to enjoy the labor of his hands, heart and mind.
The better news? If we're smart, and we think hard about a lot of what our friend had to say over the years, we might all remember that friendship--through thick and thin, good times and bad, anger and bad judgment, and even words that might have been better left unsaid--friendship is one of the few things in life that REALLY matters.
There. RIP Mr. George, and when you enter the Pearly Gates, ask the Big Man to please Hear Our Prayers...
Corky

I found this old Cub, Forgotten and Forlorn,
With pistons and valves frozen and worn.
Help from my buddies on Farmallcub.com,
And an engine from Ralph, (37’s the one),
Now ole Corky is running and back to life,
Much to the surprise of my dear, dear wife!
