Rudi was always one of the first to great a new member and had a welcome wagon of info for them.
I don't think he ever had a negative thing to say about anything or anyone.

Thank you Rudi !!

Tragic news. Vonla and I had the opportunity to visit with Rudi a few times over the years, and he was just what you'd expect--a loving and very genuine man who really valued his family and friends. The world would be a better place with more Rudi Sauerackers. Our sincerest condolences to Em and the family.

Sorry to hear of his passing. Condolences to his family.
There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.

Rest in peace Rudi.
Prayers of comfort are offered up to the family.

I never got the opportunity to meet Rudi but I have benefited greatly from the sage advice and solid technical guidance he so freely shared on this site.

Sorry to hear of the loss of a fellow cub'er of whom I have never known but enjoyed the benefit of his manuals. So we mortals lose a fellow brother and the lord gains an angel, I hope his family can find peace in knowing their loved one is now in the care of the lord. AMEN
