Re: Super A
Hello tractor lovers. I just recently purchased an 1952 F-Cub. My last tractor I owned was an 1958 Allis Chalmers HD-5 crawler that I used for logging. So I’m here to introduce myself and ask a quick question. How much gear lube does the transmission of my F-Cub hold?

Re: Super A
Hi,
cooker2003, I guess you meant how much oil is a Super A transmission supposed to have in it.
Below is the Super A operator's manual that they have on this website, the specifications begin on page 72.
It shows 2 different amounts depending on how the tractor is equipped.
http://farmallcub.com/rudi_cub/www.clea ... index.html
The final drives oil levels need checking too, it can damage the parts in them if the oil gets low.
The Lubrication section begins on page 20.
The Lubrication Guide pic is on page 22.
It tells about the trans oil on page 25.
It tells about the final drives on page 26.

Re: Super A
Hi,
Bill, the original poster, cooker2003 has a Super A, and originally posted this post in 2020.
SirWealthyElf asked about the Cub transmission oil in 2020.
cooker 2003 asked about, I think, the Super A trans oil 2 days ago.
I don't know if you noticed the dates of the posts.
