Thanks. Ive found pdf’s for the a’s, but still hunting for the hydraulics info. This was my great aunts husbands, i inheireted it because she was moving, and he told her she couldnt ‘sell it to another man’. I’d been out cleaning her property while my grandma lived out there for the last 10 years, and ive never seen it run, so its due for maintenance. The tires hold air, but gonna change the fluids before i start it. Anyone have expierience coating gas tanks? Or should i start a thread in the ‘a’ section?

Also, i’m interested in all trivia and info relating to understanding what i have. This is my first real tractor, and i’d like to do everything right about it.

This Blue Ribbon Service Manual covers the hydraulics for both the Cub & Super A.

http://farmallcub.com/rudi_cub/www.cleancomputes.com/Cub/Blue%20Ribbon%20Service%20Manuals/GSS-1024%20Touch%20Control/GSS-1024%20Touch%20Control.htm

As they said, start a new thread if you have specific problems, such as with the Touch Control (hydraulics).

Welcome! :hattip:

Guys here can tell you a whole lot about that model. But you need to be more specific with questions.

For the questions you don't know to ask, get and read the Owner's Manual that IH published.

Here's the OWNER'S Manual:
http://farmallcub.com/rudi_cub/www.cleancomputes.com/Cub/Super%20A%20-%20Super%20AV/Super%20A%20-%20Super%20AV%20Owner's%20Manual/index.html
As Jim advised, read through the manual...there is a lot of good info in there, and a section on servicing with a Lubrication Chart.

And here is the PARTS Catalog:
http://farmallcub.com/rudi_cub/www.cleancomputes.com/Cub/Super%20A%20-%20Super%20AV/TC-39B%20Parts%20Catalog/index.html

Welcome to the Forum!

If you haven't already, take some time and read through a few threads to acquaint yourself with the Forum:

You may have already found them, but now that you’ve logged more than 2 posts on the Forum, you'll have access to the all the PDF Manuals on this site. There’s a few ways to do that:
  • From a desktop or laptop, go to "Quick Links" in the upper left corner of your screen. Hit that and a pull-down appears where you'll find "PDF Manuals".
  • You can also go to “Cub Info” in the upper toolbar, then hit “Rudi’s Manuals”. From there, you can access a variety of information.
  • If you're using a phone, go to the "Links Directory" (second category down the main page). Once in "Links Directory" , scroll down to the second section "Tractor Parts & Manuals" and you'll find them there.

Might also enjoy reading through this thread (even though it’s for a Cub, much can be applied to any tractor just brought home): What to do with a Cub you just brought home

We’d encourage you to take the Safety Test located in the Safety Forum: http://farmallcub.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?f=33&t=68084

Looks like you got posting pictures understood. Thanks for posting. Looks like a nice Super A. Get it running and you'll love it.

Remember:
  • Pictures are limited to 500 KB file size. Use an image reducer app or program to downsize pics.
  • When you have a specific question, start a new thread in the appropriate sub-forum.
  • Before posting, use the Preview button before hitting Submit--it'll show you exactly what your post will look like, including pictures.
  • When adding your comments to a thread, be sure to look at the date of the last poster. If it’s more than a 6 months old, the posters are probably not going to see it. Consider starting a new thread.

Glad you joined us.
