As you can see from the database, it was one of the earliest Cubs built in June, probably only a couple days into the month. They only built about 200 tractors in the last 3 weeks of May.

There are some instructions on adjusting the manual lift in the owner's manual for the blade. I think the same instructions can be found in any version of the blade manual.

Oh wow! What a wealth of information there is in the cub database! So yes, it looks like it was completed in June 1947.

Very nice! It sure looks like it might be original paint/decals but who knows. The drawbar looks beefed up. Have you checked the engine serial number?
Should match 808.

It's definitely the the original paint and stickers (at least what's left of them). The block serial number is 76656, which puts it at 1949. The head is original.
