To fund the purchase of a MIG Welder for my home shop, several years ago I made and sold tractor jackstands. Never got rich but covered most of the cost of the welder which was my plan. Haven't made any lately and don't intend to, getting lazy in my old age!! Here are a couple of pictures of some in my shop:
