I just picked up a super a and it looks way different. Not sure how to post pictures. Mine has a big cylinder on the left side that controls the 3 point hitch and a tall handle on the right side to raise and lower the front attachment.

Is it a Super A with hydraulics (a touch control block under the rear of the fuel tank), or just an A without that block? If an A, then you might have the exhaust lift system and a hand/manual lift.

It is an exhaust lift. It's been hard to find exact info. It. I was told I was a super a. The plate says model JA serial number 1AA 121180. Did all super a's have hydraulics?

Yes, all Super A's had hydraulics.

Here's what I post to new members (when I can) on how to add pictures and the free manuals:

Take some time and read through a few threads to acquaint yourself with the Forum:

Now that you have 2 posts, you can access all the free PDF downloads in the Manuals section. They are located via "Quick Links" in the upper left corner of your screen. Hit that and a pull-down appears where you'll find "PDF Manuals". Through that link, you'll be able to download an Owner's Manual (very strongly recommended) and any service manuals that interest you. You'll be able to familiarize yourself with your new-to-you Cub more quickly. Implement Manuals are also available.

A little closer look at the serial number plate and you should find it says model IA. It is the industrial version of a Farmall A. The main difference is the heavy duty front axle. They were commonly used as highway mowers. The serial number indicates 1945.

Yes, all Super A's had hydraulics.

Most Super As had hydraulics. It was technically an option.
