A vs. Super A final drive implement holes

Postby Super A » Tue Jun 04, 2019 8:42 pm

Are the holes for the drawbar, etc. mounting on the finals of a plain Farmall A the same spacing as the Super A? I've always assumed yes, but wanted to confirm.

thanks,
Al

Spacing may be the same, the holes are different.

I don’t have parts books handy. Different size?

Yeah, and the rear one is a through hole for a bolt with nut.

Thanks, Jim. Basically what I'm trying to determine is if the rear brackets for a Woods belly mower are the same for the A and Super A.

I just mounted a woods mule drive off of a super A to an A about a month ago. They mounted up correctly. I did have to shim in between the final drive and bracket on both sides with some washers as the mule dive assembly is about 1/2 inch narrower than the inside dimension of the final drives.

And you end up without a drawbar?
