Super A seat options

Postby MarkAkerman » Tue Aug 25, 2020 9:59 am

The flip up super A seat and springs are hard to find at a decent price. Are there any alternatives? I have the braces for the springs to attach already. Papa made a wood frame on top of the braces and mounted a standard generic seat. It is mine now and I’d like to get rid of the lumber. Thanks in advance.

Welcome to the forum. You might call JP Tractor Salvage, forum sponsor at the bottom of the page and see what he has.

The two options that I am aware of are the flip seat, like you previously described, and the deluxe seat. There may be others. The deluxe seat is shown here on a 140.

The deluxe seat wasn't available until the 140. But it can be back fit onto a Super A. Another option is the aftermarket Monroe seat. A place like JP's might have one of them.

Edit, add:
The 140 in this thread has a Monroe seat.
