Mounting Runner Planter

Postby kapntx » Sun Nov 22, 2020 1:46 pm

I mounted the Runner Planter that I got with a Super A to the tractor. The longitudinal axis of the planter does not lie parallel to the tractor. I have determined that the lift arm ends are not perpendicular to the tractor, as if one lift arm is too long to be a match with the other. When measured from the final drive housing the left lift bracket where the tool bar bolts on it :worthy: is about 1-1/8” farther away than the right hand side one. Is there any way to adjust this or do I need a different lift arm?

I assume by "lift arms" you are referring to some part(s) of the universal mounting frames. Could you post a picture of each side, preferably with a yard stick or the like in place to show the difference?

With the planter aligned with tractor (eyeballed) the tool bar is this far off from bolting up to the lift bracket.

OK, good. Now back up about 2 paces and take another picture that shows the entire universal mounting frame. Then take one just like it of the other side.
