12 Volt Batter Group for a Super A

I am sure this has been asked and answered before, but I just cannot find it. Does anyone know what Battery Group a 12 volt battery for a Super A would be?

I would expect a 26R to be the best fit. I suppose you may want a 26, depending on how your cables are run. Do some measuring before you get your battery.

The 12 volt battery I used was part number (NAPA) 7526R.

That's a group 26R. Works great.

It's slightly smaller than the interior of the battery box (that's my OCD side talking), so used a couple pieces of water hose about 6 inches long to create a snug fit.
