Manual or spring assisted lift for farmall A ?

Is there such a thing as a manual or hand lift for the midsection of a Farmall a? I scoured the internet trying to find something with no such luck so I figured I would ask. Reason being I picked up a c-22 sickle bar mower from a feller down the road , not knowing I'd run into a few problems hooking it up to my A without a few modifications. The big one being how do I lift this heavy bastard of a mower! I've got all the mounting issues ironed out it's just the whole up down thing that's got me boggled any help would be greatly appreciated

There was no "universal use" lift for the A. The lifting components were part of each individual implement. That said, the lifting package for a hand-lift row-crop cultivator is fairly adaptable to other adapted or home-made mid-mount implements.

I'm not sure what mower you have (don't know of a C-22), so don't know how applicable my suggestion is.

I am not sure it would work for your application, but Woods made a manual lift lever for their 59 belly mower that fit the A and the B / BN.

You might want to look into that!
