Just wondering if there is anything special I need to know or do with my 100 as compared to my 300 or my Cub.
Thanks in advance.

I think the 100 is basically the same as Farmall Super A with a larger engine, a water pump, and taller radiator.

Same engine as the late Super A’s.

Previous owner has put all new guagues on it (not chineese) said the water temp guauge doesn't show it getting warm and needs a thermostat. I know my 300 even when mowing on a hot day like today with the engine almost wide open for 5 hours the temp guague just stays in the cold region it never gets to "Run". So does a 100 need a thermostat or will it always stay cool also?

Kitchen style thermometer. Engine hot, take it's coolant temperature. 180 to 200 degrees, ok with no thermostat for summer operation. Winter operation, you may need a thermostat or partially cover the radiator fins.ShawnAgne wrote:Previous owner has put all new guagues on it (not chineese) said the water temp guauge doesn't show it getting warm and needs a thermostat.
