Cast hub and sheet metal hub

Noticed on my 100 one wheel has a cast hub and the other is a sheet metal hub. Cast is on the right. Assuming this is to help keep weight on the right side or is this some weird anomaly that I have?
Not sure if its just me but the 100 feels like a roadster it has 12" turf tires and with the pan seat sitting low I feel like I"m part of the tractor and unlike the Cub when you go into road gear it has the horses to go straight into it and doesn't need to be babied. Just feels powerful, realize not as much as the 300 but just has a different feel to it that I like.
