Farmall 100 Restoration Update 11/13/21

Postby ShawnAgne » Sun Nov 14, 2021 9:44 am

Well finally got the valve plumbed in for the power angel. Originally was going to place it behind the gear shift. However the bends on the tubbing etc. were going to be very complex. So decided to locate it as seen here.

From the valve I will run some hose out to the quick connectors and mount them on a plate on the large flat by the cutch bell.
Going to mount the control lever on the side of the dash (using the two punch out holes). This will put the control lever around the cuck and the touch control arms.

Need to pull it all off and paint it but it is slowly coming together.

Not pictured are the brackets on the A60 frame for the cylinder.

Does that valve have a built-in pressure relief? If so, is there a place for an additional return line?

Hi Jim,

We have the two ports capped (facing horizontal on top picture) that will actually run the power angle at the moment. We just wanted to get it installed and be able to bring the tractor back from my friends work shop to his home shop. So the two places you see plumbed are the ports that bring the fluid to and back from the cylinder. This is the same type of valve I use on my Cub. Yes it does have a pressure relief and I have it opened up all the way so it doesn't build to much.
