Swinging drawbar anchor

Postby nomad » Tue Nov 23, 2021 5:47 pm

Hi All. I have a swinging draw bar anchor that seems too tight to fit under my 140. Based on what’s for sale on the web it looks like the right piece. But I can’t remember if I bought it as a farmall A or a 140 anchor. Perhaps I am missing brackets or something? If there is a diagram or picture on how it attaches I would be very grateful. Thanks!

The cross bar for an A has a plain hole in each end. The cross bar for the Super A through 140 has a slotted and countersunk hole on each end so it can be hung on the attachment studs and tightened in place with a tapered nut. There are no additional brackets and the bar should just fit between the two final drive housings.

Thank you! Can’t remember where I put the anchor down and was running out of time so I used the cub. Hopefully I’ll get things right for the Spring
