Rear gang arm brackets
Anyone made or seen DIY rear gang arm mounting brackets on Farmall Super A etc? I bought a Super A with a crappy homemade 3 point hitch on the rear and ran across a great deal on a parts bundle which has the gang arms and lift springs ....but no mounting brackets. The brackets I see on the internet cost more than I paid for the gang arms and fertilizer brackets, gas tank wheel weights draw bar, air intake.....

Re: Rear gang arm brackets
I don't have any special suggestions on where to look for a pair of them. You can put an ad in the vine listings here, check Craig's list, watch eBay, and certainly check with JP (ad bottom of this page). If you have access to one for a pattern, you should be able to make a substitute with a piece of flat steel and a piece of steel tubing. Note that the corresponding part for a Cub or A is different than the one for a Super A - 140.

Re: Rear gang arm brackets
Thanks .
I'll probably use the flat plates that the crappy three point hitch was on and weld tubing with bracing. I mainly run sweeps behind the tires so the cultivator arms won't have too much stress.

Did you find the brackets? If not I will look, I may have a spare set.

Re: Rear gang arm brackets
Are yours just the circular ones like on a 130? I know the 140 brackets are different.
