Super A brake pedals stuck?

Postby boboy » Wed Nov 09, 2022 10:04 am

Hi my 1951 Super A set out in weather for a long time and both brake pedals are stuck and will not push down is there an easy way to get them operating properly? Thanks Bobby

Have you tried a rust penetrant like Kroil or PB Blaster? Let it soak for several days to a week before trying again. Try some light taps with a rubber mallet.

If the penetrating oil doesn't work you may have to break out the hot wrench.

As Don said...spray liberally, tap back & forth with rubber mallet, spray, tap, spray... Just keep going!

If I am not mistaken, all 3 pedals on a super A have grease fittings.

So once you free them up, lube them up
