HAPPY 75th TO THE SUPER A!

75 years ago on Monday, December 22, 1947, the first Farmall Super A, 250001, rolled off the line at Louisville.

The Super A was the first Farmall with factory live hydraulics, and IH’s first “improved” postwar Farmall. While it gets overshadowed (ignored) due to the Cub’s introduction in May, its introduction was a significant event in IH history.

Its legacy would continue into 1979 in the Farmall 100, 130, and 140.

Super, that is a notable milestone for sure.
Always had an eye for the SuperA but happened upon the ‘57 130. Beauty little tractors with decent power and simple to maintain.
