I don't know if it's the same or not but we have something very, very similar in the junk row at home. Originally had a pair of Cole planters mounted to it. Might still have the owners manual somewhere.

The PO said it was a "diamond" tool bar, and it has only one main support square tube across rather than the many i have seen that have a rectangle made of tubing. It has 2 left and 2 right 90 degree arms for the tools. Appreciate the help. John

Someone may know what it is, I don't. The clamps that hold the scratchers on look like Farmall wedge clamps. I have something similar with a 2 point hook up for a SC Fast hitch but the wide toolbar on mine is 1 1/4" square stock and no extended tool bars.

A p/o must have built it and added a 3 point hookup to it.

strange though that the PO would go to the trouble of the diamond design, put on iron wheels and use the wedge clamp style and then slap an IH decal (very faint and another decal that may have been the model but it is too faded) on it. I have googled it to death, though and cannot find anything comparable

I will check for cast numbers on the various parts to see if there are clues there as well

No, it's IH. The old one at the farm is exactly like that except the three point hitch on the toolbar is a little different. It's very similar to the IH 263 cultivator but from the looks of things the 263 had parallel arms on the gangs to allow them to float and this cultivator is rigid. https://partstore.caseih.com/us/parts-s ... c::mr57834

When I'm at my parents again, if I can remember I'll check and see if I can find the manual for it.

Fantastic guys! The 263 is a bit obscure and hard to see, but it really looks like the 200. I actually got a bunch of different shovels and one complete....I don't know what they are called, but the shovels that are depicted in the case parts diagrams. Strange the complete cultivator is shown with shovels and yet the parts list only speaks to tines and hillers. Any further literature would be great. Again, thanks for the Columbo work! John

I might retro some prongs on it so it can go directly into the FH.

Shovels were listed on the printed parts catalogs as a common item, not repeated for each cultivator model. Shovels can be found on the partsstore site by going up to a higher level (shop by category tab) and selecting crop production. None of the sweep part numbers from the original catalog are good any more.

Thanks for the info...interesting that the shovels and tines are completely different tools that have about the same application. The vertical shovel that I got is really a marvel of design...very impressive.

Sorry for the confusion, I was referring to mine. Anyhow - it does look like that 200 unit Jim found. :coffee:
