Super C bypass block

Postby Smokeycub » Sun Oct 10, 2021 11:31 am

Hi guys, it’s been a while. I’ve been trying to find a bypass block for my SC. It has the fast hitch with the remote for the rear cylinder. I would like to add an additional remote but the bypass blocks I’ve been finding say they are not for a fast hitch. Why is that? Because the spacing would interfere with the rock shaft linkage to the fast hitch? ..,or something else? Is there another way to do the same thing? Thanks in advance! :coffee:

Hey Ray!
I read that the block makes the hydraulic lines from the pump too short. Aren't there a couple of blocked ports on the auxiliary valve that you could use....only for an open system I would guess...going off memory.

Thanks for responding John, I took a look at the valve on the tractor and there is one extra port, not two. If I had to guess I think it’s for connecting a gauge for testing pressures. I had in my mind that the factory aux valve was two pieces, an inlet/return block and the valve outside of that, but it’s one combined unit. I think I’ll check into getting an inlet block from a super a or a non fast hitch s/c, for some reason I don’t yet understand the bypass block will work with them. If that pans out then I would need to get a dual spool valve, one to run the fast hitch cylinder and the extra for whatever I may need.

If the bypass block won't fit couldn't you tee off of the inlet and outlet since it is an open system?
