McCormick-Deering T-20
Looking for the guys who know the most about this little crawler. My grandfather gave me his T20. It was overhauled about 20 years ago. Well the guy who did it half-assed most the tractor. Thought a coat or paint would hide the problems. Well I've never seen it run and I was told it has the wrong Mag. What mag should it have? What are the basic things I need to know about it? Also I would like to install rubber on the metal tracks. Would you be able to bolt rubber or wood to the existing tracks or is there a way to replace them with rubber or wood? Thanks!

Magneto. There are/were several different magnetos that are compatible, will work in place of the IH mag; WICO, Fairbanks-Morse .
I have an excuse. CRS.

Re: McCormick-Deering T-20
Someone makes/sells the rubber pads for the steel tracks or wheels. Try Miller Tire, if they don't have them they will probably know who sells them.

Re: McCormick-Deering T-20
Assuming the T20 uses the same mag as an F20, it looks like an E4A, or an F4, I see both listed for it. Most definitely different than the ones used on cubs, or a through M
If you are not part of the solution,
you are part of the problem!!!
