Looking at a 484 with loader for mowing and skidding/hauling firewood. 5200 hours. Anyone have any experience with these and what i should be looking for problems/issues? Any help would be great. Thanks

Re: International 484
Gas or diesel?--if diesel, I would walk, BUT some prefer diesel.--My uncles had a 464 gas in mid 80's, bought new and was good tractor, 84 series would be close to same as 64 series only newer.---Be real careful with the shifters on them, VERY easy to break due to the poor design of them.--574 is another bad shifter too. Got one of them here in the yard, it's a 200-gas engine. thanks; sonny
