Which PTO cover on the H?

I'd like to put a PTO cover on my H, but don't know if I need the long one or the short one. Will the short one work on the H? Any help is appreciated.

I am not sure, but I think which one will fit depends on which pto you have. I believe the mounting bolt patterns ate different.

Case IH online parts shows the short one with a notch on the left front side for serial numbers 15,878 to 117,999 and the long one for 118,000 and up. Small shaft short cover, standard shaft long cover.

Okay, good info. My SN is 366519, so the long one is it. A second question though: do you think the PTO cover from a Farmall 300 would fit?

If I was guessing I would of said yes. After looking at different parts numbers for both I'm not so sure.
