New wiring for the W4

Postby Rob » Fri May 29, 2020 9:41 am

:tractor: So time for new wiring and I see that there’s 4 or 5 different guages of wire for a few year of price and patch get through the day kinda wiring.
What’s the best guage of wire for this old bird. Kinda like to do it right. Any help or comments would be appreciated

Above link has the different wire sizes for an application.

Late night edit: The above site didn't open directly but did as a slide show. Did open earlier today.

Local hardware store will have small spools of wire in the size desired and terminal ends.
I have an excuse. CRS.

I will soon have to do the same for my 1952 w6 standard. It’s still got the kerosene fuel set up on it . I just found a seller for new exhaust replacement. Let us know how the wiring turns out . And what you think on the harness kit.
