generator
I was wondering if I could buy a twelve volt generator regulator and put it where my 6 volt regulator is? I know on a Farmall MD they had a twelve volt generator and regulator. Do you think that a regular generator with a 12 volt regulator would charge a 12 volt battery?

Re: generator
Why do you want to use a 12 volt battery on a 6 volt tractor?

Re: generator
A 6 volt generator may charge a 12 volt battery but marginally. For less than the cost of a good 12 v regulator, you can get a one wire alternator and never worry about is again.
