Fuel level stick

Saw a fuel level stick from Kubcraft and the dimensions were posted to make your own. Was wondering does anybody have such a thing made for a 300?

the last time I ran out of gas, I dipped a paint stirrer and marked the liquid level which I now use as a fancy fuel level stick.

You can buy a new fuel gauge to fit a ih 300 from Steiner Tractor Parts for about $125.00 I believe it was an optional part when new.
